by Máté Varga
The work is characterized by a minimalist and extremely aesthetic presentation of a space made of solids. The artist writes about the work: “I dreamed of a bright place made of concrete and glass connected by metal beams.” Graphics are a landscape created by the artist’s mind. The shape of the lumps in the foreground slightly resembles the stern of a ship. The choice of colors – white, dark pink and shades of gray evokes the colors of the sunset, evoking a warm, soothing feeling. So we have the impression of rocking on an imaginary ship looking at an unprecedented sunset. This successful attempt to build a specific, pleasant impression on the recipient is not accidental. In his works, Varga masterfully manipulates the surroundings and colors, knowing exactly how to combine individual elements to evoke specific emotional experiences.

3D artist / videographer
“The topic of fabricated realities, games and a Second Life is still a big inspiration when I create, combined with the urban environment around us, the growing, living cities and the fight with nature.” – Varga Máté
Freelance 3D artist, videographer. He studied Media Design at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. He already knew in high school that he would be involved in the field of 3d design, which he indeed specializes in today. Apart from company projects and orders, he also creates digital art full of artistic concepts. Varga Máté values the latest digital technologies, explores them and uses them in his work – both in projects for companies and in his digital art works. He is a fan of games and VR technologies, which he also uses in his work.
His artistic projects mainly combine topics such as the future urban environment, science fiction and post-apo. He is particularly interested in the life of the city as a living organism that grows, dies, transforms and produces meanings. This combines with technological thought and creates a dialogue between the robotic and natural worlds. In his works, the story is told by solids – complex, fantastic buildings and robotic creatures.
